About

I’ve always loved reading, and have written stories in my head for as long as I can remember. I put the basics of structure together in my first Young Author’s submission in fifth grade, and was chosen as a winner/participant not only that year, but the following as well. That pretty much established my passion for writing, and answered the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up.”

I’ve continued writing (both in real life and in my head), even when working full-time for the past 20-something years. Writing in my “spare time,” has allowed my work to appear in local, regional and national publications, as well as completing four stage plays. Two placed in the Northeast Indiana Playwright Festival competitions — “Touch and Go” won 1st place in 2015, was produced and had a two-weekend run. The other, “The Unpredictability of Fire” placed third in 2017, and had a stage-reading at the festival.

I’m still writing stories, with hopes of taking the traditional publishing route on future projects.
